Historically Chic
This 1927 cottage is located just a few blocks from the historic plaza in downtown Sonoma. The previous owner had received an award for historic preservation of the exterior, but the interior needed to be updated. The new owner had us completely redesign the master bedroom suite, living room, dining room, and kitchen, including bumping out into the backyard for a new breakfast nook. She also wanted to add a pool and accessory structure to the property including a garage and guest bedroom. A simple landscaping concept helped transform this new work into an outdoor living room between the 2 buildings.
We always enjoy working with Christine Curry for interior design. Working closely with the owner, she seamlessly integrated traditional and contemporary finishes and furnishings into this historic gem of a home!
